This training is specifically catered to providers who submit Non-Emergent Advanced Imaging Review Types. The session will educate providers on the prior authorization requirements for advanced imaging services, including CT, MRI, and PET scans. It will provide step-by-step guidance on submitting authorization requests via Qualitrac, discuss Mississippi’s Prior Authorization Reform Act and its impact on the review process, and explain how to handle urgent vs. non-urgent requests and understand review timeframes. A Q&A session will follow to address any questions. Specific Review Trainings are offered at two different times for your convenience, but you only need to attend one session per topic.
